Neelkantheshwar Trimurti lalitpur up














The temple of Neelkantheshwar Trimurti of the Chandela period is the main attraction of Pali village in Lalitpur (Uttar Pradesh). The idol of Lord Shiva in this temple is unique in that it has three heads, and it is considered to be one and only Avatar of Lord Shiva, Pali . "Mukhlinga" (Height of 77 centimeters) is placed on the ground in front of Neelkantheshwar Trimurti idol. This temple is situated amid dense forests on a hillock and this place is also famous for betel growing. This Temple is 45 kilometers south from Lalitpur and 11 kilometers from Jakhlaun railway station. A very huge fair (mela) is held here every year during the Maha Shivratri festival.
